Grid time for June 21th is set to 9.45 and briefing as usual at 10.00.
Team blogs (updated)
Our team blog collection now also features links to the Finnish team blog and the French team blog.
In a related note, we have to admit that using Google Translate on the blogs is quite a lot of fun: take this and this and now also this. (The Swedish team’s blog cannot be translated since FaceBook refuses Google Translate, probably due to their companies’ conflicting ambitions of World Domination).
Team Cup
From today on we will also publish results for the Team Cup. Already for the first three competition days we see quite an interesting development!
According to FAI Sporting Code, Section 3, Appendix A a team must consist of at least two competitors. Unfortunately, this means that out of the competing pilots from 12 nations, only 8 teams will participate in the Team Cup.
Day cancelled
For those who followed the unfolding drama via internet: yes, in the end we had to cancel this competition day.
For sure, nobody is happy about that…
New tasks for all classes
A field briefing has been held and B-tasks have been distributed: 124/226(173)km AAT for Club class and 136/260(197)km AAT for Standard + 15-meter class. First launch expected for 12:30.
